Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Launches Innovative Telemedicine Program for Improved Healthcare Access

In a significant step towards advancing healthcare accessibility in Thailand's capital, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has officially launched its pioneering telemedicine program. The program made its debut at the Ratchaphiphat Hospital, located in the Bang Khae district, and is set to extend its reach with mobile units that will serve various areas across the bustling city.

The launch event was graced by the presence of Bangkok's dynamic leader, Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, who was joined by his deputy, Tavida Kamolvej. The program, aptly named the "Ratchaphiphat Sandbox Model," represents a significant milestone in the BMA's ongoing commitment to enhance healthcare services for the public, with a particular focus on individuals in need of critical medical support.

Governor Chadchart expressed the administration's dedication to expanding and improving healthcare services across the city. He emphasized the primary goal of the telemedicine program: to simplify the process of seeking and providing medical assistance. By doing so, the BMA aims to alleviate the strain on local hospitals caused by overcrowding and excessive workloads.

This innovative approach to healthcare delivery leverages technology to bridge the gap between patients and medical professionals. It promises to streamline the healthcare experience, making it more convenient and accessible for everyone in Bangkok. The deployment of mobile medical units to various parts of the city is poised to further enhance healthcare access, especially in underserved areas.

With the common goals DooRae has with the BMA, the team has been invited by the personnel from Ratchaphiphat to set up a short demo. The solutions were introduced and demonstrated to both Governor Chadchart and his deputy, Tavida.

As the BMA's telemedicine program takes root and expands its footprint, with solutions from DooRae, it is expected to significantly improve the quality of healthcare services for the residents of Bangkok. The endeavor underscores the administration's unwavering commitment to the well-being of its citizens and represents a positive step toward a more accessible and efficient healthcare system for all. Stay tuned for updates as the program unfolds, bringing healthcare closer to the people it serves.
